Anyone have direct experience with the Avatar Vintage 112 open back cab?

I've owned several different Avatar cabs. I thought the 212 open back was stellar, the 112 closed back cubes not so much. Bass cabs are OK.

I'm looking to a stellar sounding 112 open back (I've figured out that I don't care for sealed cabs) unloaded cab. I have a raw G12H30 I want to put in it.

So my question really is, how does the Avatar cab stack up with other more expensive similar cabs? Anyone ever do a direct comparision?

Any other recommendations?

I have one of their premier vintage 1x12's loaded with a gold. Sounds great. My other two cabs are avatars as well. Both are premier vintage 2x12's (closed back). One has green backs, the other v30 x g12h20

I recently picked up an Avatar Vintage G112 open back cab. It is a great cab. It has a V30 in it. The slightly oversized cab is great for projecting huge bass response and the open back help disperse the sound to all sides of the stage at gigs. In general I am very happy with it. In fact I am getting ready to order the Vintage 2x12 next. I am trying to decide on which speaker(s) to put in it! You can't go wrong with Avatar products. Best bang for the buck IMO.
