USACG tele build

I recently finished my tele build.
Color: daphne blue w/double white binding
Body: 2 piece alder
Neck: birdseye maple, maple fretboard
1 11/16" nut width, 6150 frets
10" radius, .870 "C", Graphtech Tusq nut
Hardware: Callaham
Tuners: Gotoh vintage
Pickguard: Warmoth single ply white
Pickups: Dimarzio Area T/Hot Area T
String trees: Stew Mac

I got a little lucky I suppose, as the guitar is incredibly
resonant and lively. I love the Areas too.
The color is similiar to my dad's '55 Chevy (cashmere
blue/white). Daphne blue is pretty close to that.
USACG did an outstanding job with the neck and body.
They painted it (had it painted) too.

Sorry but there is no way a well built partscaster is going to look, sound, play, or be built as well as a custom built guitar. So, if you think it does it's all in your head and you're fooling yourself. I know because I've played 11,239,463.72 and 1/2 partscasters and none of them sounded as good as the 489,975,097,135.455 and 7/8 custom guitars I've played. And it's not all in my head. So just forget it. Nope, sorry, nada, ixnay, nuh, guh, duit. Throw it away. Better yet, give it to me, I'll dispose of it. Buy a "real" custom built guitar.
Wait...this is a "real" custom built guitar. Nah, can't be. Doesn't have a decal or "big name". OK, I'm sorry, I'll stop, just funnin'. Really!
BTW, does that gorgeous thing sound as good as it looks? Don't answer that, you'll just make me want it more and I'm getting moist as it is. Did I say that thing is gorgeous!!

Tom

Yeah, like the double binding and maple fretboard. Almost never see that. Man, that thing's gorgeous. Yeah, I know I already said that.

Love the Daphne Blue with white binding! I'm so happy with the Strat Tommy at USACG did for me that I've thought about doing a Tele.

Very nice. I wonder how much saved just doing it yourself. You mind mentioning what it cost you? I'm sure it's worth every penny.
