the Peter Green Story

I stumbled across this documentary on the tube and thought Id share it. I've heard/read many of these stories, but to hear them straight from the people involved, is something else. Enjoy

He's quite funny in a lot of spots. Halfway through vid 5. Seems pretty together.

Thank you for posting this. I feel a bit more learned on Peter Green and the early Fleetwood mac. Not to mention great tones on there.

The video is a little disjointed, the time line seems bit off. It's still some great info and ends on an upnote. I saw him a few years ago and it was pretty good. He played well.

Imagine - 1969, half empty hall, Green Kirwan and Spencer knocking out "Albatross" thru those magnificent Orange amps. I was transfixed. I've never heard tone before or since to equal it.

That was wonderful, thanks!

It's amazing how many people never heard the old Fleetwood Mac. I play them here at the bookstore all the time, and folks always have to ask "who is that playing?" They recognize some of the songs and are amazed when I tell them who wrote them.
"You mean, it wasn't Santana?" they ask.
