Wah and phase at the same time?

Anybody here use wah and phase at the same time for sorta gainy applications like soloing? I know they are two completely different effects, but do you people feel phase is redundant if you have wah?

Not odd or redundant at all in the world of funk ...
Often used in exactly that way ...

Good well known examples would include:

Clean combination= Kiss by Prince ...
W/Gain combination =Check P-Funk lead guitar solos all over their recordings

I love a really slow wah sweep with a fast phaser. Add a touch of delay and you have an amazing texture.

I was just experimenting with this.
It can be very useful.
Think about Hendrix using the Uni-Vibe and wah...
Basically the same thing.

I ended up liking Wah>Phase>Fuzz the best.
But Phase>Wah>Fuzz works too.
