Best D-style amp for 2000$

I need help - what do you think which Dumble style amp is the best for 2000$ or less, it can be new or used, i know that this is not some big money for some Dumble clone amp ( Two- rock, Fuchs , carol ann ,... ) but the problem is that i live in Croatia and i must pay shipping, our tax ( 22% ),......., so all together will be near 3000. Another problem is that i cannot try one Dumble style amp here in Croatia because we dont have them here . So please tell me what can i buy up to 2000$ , thank you.

True,a K&M Custom is a wonderful amp.
However, being in Croatia you'll need one that runs on 220 not 110.So,most of the used ones in the US will be 110.Yet,most builders will be able to set you up with a 220.
Some amps come standard to run on either.Like Carol-Ann.They seen to go used for $2600 to $2800 though.
I would say look into Brown Note or Ceriatone.
Welcome to TGP and D land.

Still trying to figure out "why" with a few cheap knockoffs and a very nice, NOS loaded THD BiValve.

Here's a guy in Slovenia building Ceriatone kits... He has some already built, so you can try one in person...

Edd- Hang in there on the BrownNote- It is the amp you want and the guys are good guys. Moss has a full time job and does get backed up. I know he has several orders for the Blue Monkey so parts could be a bit backed up.

The small programs like this can be frustrating but they do the best they can and build a world class amp, particularly for folks that are seeking the D sound.

Edd, I have the 2nd Blue Monkey 88W made , has the Blue Face , it took a long time for Moss to build it. It is an amazing amp, it does take time, and the Brown Note guys aren't the best at managing timelines. However they always came through and the amp simply kills. I had many occassions where I thought "why no response". be patient you will hear from them. They do deliver.
