Idea for pedal biz

I wonder if someone could make a little garage business by taking someone's two favorite lead pedals that they also like to stack and re-housing them in a single box with a common power supply? They/you'd lose pedal configuration flexibility but gain what lots of players want - footswitching simplicity. Just musing....

we have done it before, we can do it. Its fun One time we took a guys delay setup two stereo DD5's and one stereo DD3, and wired them together exactly how he wanted them with certain ins and outs going different places. it was a blast!

Anyone else who does this? wuold it be possible to make fulldrive-ish or dm4 type design out of other pedals. Like bluesdoc said. Footswitching simplicity.

Borrowing from the FOXROX Captain Coconut approach, I'm surprised that no one offers a TS808 clone and FuzzFace clone in one box. You'd have a bypass switch, and another switch that toggles between the TS and the fuzz. Paint it green on one side, and red on the other, and call it a "TwoFace" (TM)!!

I've been thinking about doing this to a pair of pedals that I have (dano cool cats). It would be cool to have them in one enclosure to save real estate.

+1...I have a Cool Cat Drive and a Cool Cat Transparent Overdrive. Does anybody want to combine them for me? Wonder how much that would cost to do. Also, a way to change the stacking order via a switch. That would be fantastic!

HAHA, those are the two that I have and want to combine. I am pretty settled on order though, I like the drive going INTO the TO. Switching the order of the 2 is defenately doable though witha 4PDT switch.

If routing isn't an issue (that is something that definitely CAN be added as a switchable option), I'd just recommend getting micro-loooper type of deal. It's one of the best uses for them. Not only do you get one switch to engage both pedals but you can put those pedals out of the way and have the mini loooper switch in a prime real estate location on your board. The green loooper here engages my one off keeley ts9 -> RAT.

My Abunai 2 OD and Fuzz in one box I did a long time ago:

This one has switchable Si and Ge Fuzz as well as a 'flip-it' switch which changes the order of the Abunai 2 and the Fuzz. So, for example, you can have the fuzz go into the OD or vice versa... OD into the fuzz.

There are so many combinations and every musician has their unique style. It is difficult to know what combinations are really wanted. And more importantly by a large number of guitarists.
