+1 on the Ernie Ball 25k. I bought two to use with me Line6 M13; built like tanks and super-smooth. They also work great as a second master volume in the amp's FX loop.

Plug into the "out" and there is your expression pedal.

I'm a fan of the Boss FV500 expression pedals myself.

The Moog EP2 is terrible, not only is it really weak feeling the pedal is connected by a string.

At least get the Roland EV5.

If you want your expression pedal to look and feel like a wah, the Mission Engineering pedals would be worth a look. I'm considering one or two of those to control my Axe-FX.

No, you want the 25k one. Most expression jacks need a certain range of resistance to work - check with the manufacturer what it wants - and I've found that most pedals want between 10k and 100k.

If plugging a mono cable in to the 'out' jack of the EB Jr doesn't do it, you'll need a split cable that has a TRS jack on one end and two TS jacks on the other. Plug the TRS into your pedal, and the two TS jacks into the In and Out of the EB Jr (or other expression pedal).

Hope that helps.

The FV500 is really nice. The rocking mechanism or whatever feels great.
