Analogman Juice is the SHEEEEIT! I have been through a bunch of compressors and I have yet to find one that works as well (for me) Bear in mind that when I stomp a compressor I want to hear it working, so sublety is not my objective. The AM compressor in really an in-your-face effect - and I love it!

Yes - my Analogman Juicer works beautifully with active and passive single coils, P90s, and humbuckers. Although it does provide a boost to the signal, it won't woof out DIIs or WCR Darkbursts, and actually gives them more dimension without woolliness when played clean or with some grit/crunch. I don't usually run the Juicer when playing with a lot of saturation, but it does smoothen things out for legato playing, which is cool if that's someone's main thing. I can't praise the Juicer enough - it's a great little unit with a great sound of its own.

I actually used a Juicer with 'buckers for a while.

I think it works fine. There is something really unexpected about that pedal. I've bought 4 or 5 compressors since and some of them were really good, but I'm always really impressed when I go back to the Juicer.

That's good news guys. I am expecting to receive my Juicer this week. Upon receipt, I will put it through the test with both single coil and humbuckers and report back. Thanks.

I use a stock Dyna Comp with humbuckers and it's great. Another nice compressor with buckers is the DOD Milk Box. Both very inexpensive too.

+1 on the Carl Martin for humbuckers. It's been on my board for 5 years now, and gets along great with my PRS custom 22. I've recently got a 4 knob Keeley, which seems to prefer singles, but seems to have a little more mojo. I do also own a CS-3 Opto mod plus which is decent enough for the money, but think that the Carl Martin's threshold control works magic with 'buckers.
