Gorgeous Clean for bedroom

So, what are my options?
It would be great if it was pedal friendly.
Don't forget: we're talking bedroom levels.

I recently got a mid 70s silverface Princeton without reverb, and it has a wonderful clean tone. It stays clean almost all the way to full volume with my tele. If you get a chance you should check one out.

Not having a master volume, does it still sounds goo at bedroom levels?
Also, I have never played a 10 inck speaker amp...

I also agree that the Silverfaced Champs and Princetons offer perhaps the best value and tone for bedroom use. The cleans of both are sweet and you can still pick one up for a reasonable price. If money was no object, you could look at some of the boutique stuff, and some are very very good. But value-wise, it is hard to find something better than a SF.

I also think the Tweed Deluxe does this type of clean at this level well.

Yes indeed. The clean sweet spot on these amps start at a respectable bedroom level. With pedals, you can get a great crunch at just above whisper level.
