TJ Thompson (Eric Claptons guitar) footage
Hi folks,
there is some extremely rare footage of Connecticut based luthier TJ Thompson. TJ is probably THE most famous and respected repair person for pre-war Martin guitars. I used to know TJ, and have spent several afternoons with him. Amazing fellow who has created a wonderful niche for himself. Other restorers bow at the waist to this guy.
He also builds, but you sorta have to beg him. He's the go to guy for rich collectors and rock stars, and lives in the thin air so to speak, but he also does restoration work on high value pieces via The Music Emporium here in MA.
