Builders aren't allowed to post pics in the gut shot thread

People who browse this thread want to see gut shots, no matter where they come from. I think that's great that the builders are contributing to this thread too.
Some people do care about what's inside and how it's done. Some of them might not want to buy from a builder only at looking the gut shot. So I don't think it's a commercial move to post in the gut shot thread.

A builder being accused of spamming for posting gutshots in a thread specifically requesting gutshot pics is like someone from Ford not being allowed to post crash test data on their cars in a "Crash Test Data" thread on a car forum.

There has to come a time when common sense is brought into the equation instead of bureaucracy.

as a guy who needs to know how everything works, the amp guts appreciation thread and pedal guts thread are my favorite thread on this forum. period.
i like to know how things tick and what is inside, for better or worse!

for me, its a +/- kinda thing. common sense is one thing, but rules are rules, yknow? i see both sides of this one. i'm glad i'm not a justice.

those are my thoughts. could it not be construed that a picture of a boss pedal is an advertisement for boss/roland? especially given the conditions that some folks here work in the industry and may represent/sell a given manufacturers products?

not trying to be hella picky, but i think this is worth some consideration...
