Guitar teacher in Melbourne Australia

Hi Aussies!

Bit of a long shot posting here.... anyway here goes.

It's time to take my playing further than my current noodling around. I'm having fun but have a long way to go and my playing's dropped off over the years after a bit of time off.

So, can anyone recommend a good teacher in Melbourne? I'm near St Kilda but traveling is ok especially on weekends.

Interested in bluesy stuff.

Cheers!

Might be too far for you but I have a good friend in Brisbane that runs a guitar school. He is a great teacher and good player.

Look up a dude here on TGP called sadhaka. I know he teaches, and he seems like a cool guy from some PM chats I've had with him. He is formally qualified, and seems to be able to do modern stuff as well as older styles, which is not always the case.

Also look up a guy based in Box Hill named Rob, I think his user name is robelinda1. I have chatted with him a few times and he is a good guy and from what I have heard a great teacher.

Thanks MCB... Brisbane's about 1700km away. Do appreciate the response though!

Ken, sadhaka looks like he's in Sydney but thanks too.

Any others at all please?

I would strongly advise you give Bob Spencer a call:

I can't think of a more qualified teacher!
