Hermida, Hermida
Hey there everyone. I just picked up a ZenDrive 2 and was thinking about if anyone had any suggested settings for it (or the ZenDrive 1.) Furthermore, can anyone describe in actuality what the Voice Knob doesÉ Thanks in Advance.

Start with every knob at noon. Then add or take away gain, tone and voice. The voice knob covers a lot of ground. It controls overall tonality, but more importantly,it allows you to make the OD section smoother and darker, or more aggresive and brighter at the same time. Its like a fine tune for the gain knob.At least to my ears all these years.

I just got a Zendrive in the mail this afternoon and spent several hours messing with it. I don't like it with my MIM Strat with the EMG's in it but it sounds real good with my Epiphone "dot" 335 with Gibson Classic 57's in it set as follows:
Volume and Gain about 9:30 and Tone and Voice about 3 o'clock. This is through a RI Bassman BTW. Sounds very Robben Ford-ish to me. "Help The Poor" tone or like his tone on his early album "The Inside Story". |

The voice knob has been invaluable to me in getting the tone of the pedal to match the tone of my amp. Shaping the mids, I suppose.
