Pics: Fano SP6 in Roundup Orange

With her friends:

Scott Lentz T-style, Fender SRV Strat, Fano SP6, Crook S and Crook T.

Bigsby Detail:

From the top:

The Headstock, and the trussrod cover:

Ain't she purty?

Really, really purty, even?

There she is in the sun...

I love the woodgrain on the top...

Many more pics here.

Gorgeous pics of that Fano. I actually spoke with the previous owner, Ira, the other day. We were talking about doing an amp swap. Good guy too.

Nice looker; how's the tone? Are you getting a good balance with both pickups? How's the swamp ash/maple/RW combination in terms of high end sizzle on the bridge PU?

As I said in an earlier thread, yours is the guitar I would have gone for if not for my all Korina P90/tele bridge SP6.....it's such a cool combination of flavors.

Thanks guys. Yes, Ira is a great guy to do the guitar swapping/buying with

The tones are awesome. I played it through a Swart AST last night, clean tones. Superb. Played along a Norah Jones DVD and had a blast.

I also played it through the Carr Mercury with distorted tones, and it hung in there very well. Had some ZZ Top riffin' fun

mojo, for a real challenge, you should play the Fano along with a DVD of Norah's father-Fano and sitar would make for an unusual combo!! Very Beatles in India like.

Thanks architect, I am already enjoying the heck out of her.

And I do like the headstock as well. That's one thing about Fanos I always liked, actually.

Way cool look! Love that roundup orange.

These Fano's kind of have that cool "pawn shop find" look to them.

They're saying "Here I am, you want to do something about it?"

Very nice.

I had my SP-6 plugged into my Swart STR yesterday. It's a great combo.

That is one sexy guitar, Mojo. Congrats.
