Ampeg Jet 20 with Celestion G12H speaker

Correction: The speaker is a G12M

I just got this amp and wanted to show what a Jet 20 sounds like with an alternative speaker. I just noodled around for awhile showing the amp by itself and then with pedals. There was no attempt to do a final mix or mess with the EQ, just a quick recording in the rough.

The Amp was set around 4 with tone near 3 o'clock. I did open everything wide open during the sans-pedals part and that will be obvious.

I used a Don Grosh ElectraJet Custom with Fralin Blues Specials (neck & middle) and an Unbucker in the bridge (slip mode a couple of times).

Boss RV-5, Fulltone OCD, Fulltone Choralflange, Maxon CP101 and Digitech Hardwired Delay pedals were used.

Sounds great! I have one of these as well, but mine has the original speaker. It's great for bluesy stuff, although mine is starting to crackle when I crank up. I think one of the power tubes is going.
