reasonably priced, semi-hollow electric?

looking for a pretty cheap (<$450) semi hollow. played an epiphone dot recently..not terribly impressed but it wasn't terrible. just lookin for something with that classic semi hollow sound. the ibanez artcore series seemed decent, but i've yet to actually play one. open to suggestions. thanks

My Washburn HB 35 holds its own just fine amidst my US Fenders, Gibsons, PRS, Ric, Hamer, Parkers etc. Nice guitar!
The stock pups were pretty good but I put a set of DiMarzio PAF Classics in it & it really just sings.

rondo music has a couple semi hollow guitars. Though, I have not had the experience of playing these models exactly i have played my friends' flying v (the model named "hornet") and one of the al (les paul) guitars and i was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the guitars. I would say that would go for the majority of the guitars rondo music offers.
