Played the National Anthem. He's no Hendrix, but it was undoubtedly a great endorsement for Suhr guitars.

I was just out to eat and they were showing that in the restaurant. I wasn't sure what it was at first, but then they got a great headstock shot. He played it pretty safe, but that's a good way to go w/ the national anthem when you aren't in a bar or at woodstock!

it just dawned on me that when they panned to his fret hand, you could get a pretty good glimpse of the fretwork on the guitar. there's a recent TGP thread about deep fret slots, and I used Suhr as an example of a smaller builder with tighter tolerances.
well damned if you couldn't see as plain as day how high-quality the fretwork was on Bernie's Suhr. If you knew what you were looking at, of course... |
