I would like to just point out that that is not Led Zeppelin; it is Page & Plant. Fantastic none-the-less...

The best concert experience I've ever had was P&P in Vancouver with full symphony and a 10 pc. Egyptian ensemble... I thought I was gonna implode.

I remember watching the whole concert when it first aired on emptyV or VH1 or whatever that was, and I have to admit that, even as an LZ fan, I was skeptical.

After all, the last time Page and Plant had performed together prior to the "Unleaded" thing, it was pretty horrible.

However, I was pleasantly surprised - Page really had his sh*t together.

I caught the tour in '95 and was even more impressed.

Saw the first PP tour in Miami with the orch and egyptians. It was incredible. Drummer Michael Lee was a righteous fill in for Bonzo and really brought it.

This is from the CD and DVD called No Quarter. I think it was promoted as UnLedded on MTV when it was first shown.

This is a great rendition of that tune. I HIGHLY recommend you get the DVD as they've taken many of their great tunes and revamp'ed them with various cultural orchestra's and group sittings, as well as with Page, Plant and Plants bassist and drummer doing the power trio thing with Robert up front, as well as Page and Plant as a duo.

It was a great return for some the greatest music givers of our time...and Jimmy's playing it VERY good on this outing.

I saw them on the Walking in Clarksdale tour and was more than satisfied with my ticket purchase. They again had Plants bassist, drummer, and multi-instrumentalist. Jimmy played superb...starting with the Wanton Song kind of set the mood too. It was a great show.

Saw the P&P show at the Boston Garden with members of the Boston Symphony. There was this one pretty old looking male violinist who at the start of the show looked bored to hell and not happy to be there. By the end of it he was rocking out as much as anyone. Priceless!

I have Unledded on DVD and it looks and sounds fantastic.

1. The violin solo in this is amazing.

2. From the 8:00 mark on this is some of the heaviest shit ever, and the joy on stage from the musicians is so damn cool.

3. RIP Michael Lee. You f*cking ROCKED sir.

I saw P&P in '95 in Indy.
Indy Symphony Ensemble on one side of the stage...the Egyptian orchestra on the other.
Michael Lee on the kit, and the guitarist from The Cure was helping Page out. (at the time, he was just getting back up to speed)

Plant was looking like a buff lifeguard from Venice Beach...and singing like a 19 year old.

When they hit 'Kashmir' and the two orchestras were trading 4's, I thought I was gonna fill my pants!

Seriously, it was a magical night.
