I am assuming there are not really any guitar type shops anywhere near the Old Dom area. I am heading there the end of this week for a few days. Anyplace easily accessible for the non-resident?

Alpha Music They are both near interstate exits and not far from ODU. Moes and AL&M aren't really worth visiting as they don't stock anything.

I have family in Norfolk and Alpha is one of the greatest shops Ive been to! The staff there is very helpful, top notch!

Definitely find Alpha...was the greatest guitar shop around back when I live there (80's).

AL&M on Military Highway near the airport used to be pretty good also, although I haven't been there in several years.
