the SWAW is awesome, but a "niche" pedal. however, its pretty versatile for a specialized pedal. great for funk. sounds a lot like the old Moog synths if set right.

I had one for a little while. I thought it was great. I sold it because I realized that a traditional wah suited me better, but if you're looking for an auto-wah, the SWAW is a really good choice.

The SWAW's controls are very powerful, so be sure to spend a lot of time tuning it to your rig and your touch.

I haven't personally compared it to other auto wahs, but my impression when I was shopping around was that the SWAW is a lot throatier than most auto-wahs. It will get quacky, but not nearly as much as other auto wahs that are voiced more toward the treble end of the envelope.

It does Garcia. I think it is the Holy Grail of EF's. It whoops butt on the EMMA unit in my opinion. the classic wah tones just sound more 'real'. I loved, but it was too expensive to keep because I don't use that effect much and I need my Teese wah.
Takes a while to dial in, but worth it when you do. You really gotta be imaginative when turning those knobs-I've seen posters on here that couldn't figure it out.

I think it's great. Agree, you have to spend some time dialing it in. For example, settings that sound great with one guitar will totally not work with another.

it's awesome. it has a more natural wah tone than the prometheus. however, i couldn't justify keeping it as well. i have other wah options, and it was a little too much money.

I agree with pretty much everything said here. It does great single note Mutron style vowel sounds (I have a good vintage Mutron III to compare it to) and is much smoother than most EFs. I'm not sure anything can replace the manual control of a wah pedal of course, so don't assume it will really do that, but it is certainly the best thing I have tried. My SWAW has been on my gigging board for months now and I think it's a keeper.

I haven't played a SW but for the money I'm guessing a MH AF will work just fine. Check it out.

I didn't really get along with it. Very mellow. I have a MuTron Micro V now that can't be beat.

I had the Snow White for a few months and didn't think it felt or sounded like a Wah at all. I sold it when I got the Pedalworx "Cool Machine", now this feels and sound like a real wah.
Here's a clip of it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VED6gXc0-x0

Just got one about a month ago - love it....takes a LONG time to understand how to use it.

Of note - the sensitivity pot is the core to getting this pedal to sound good. For a player (like me) that uses the guitar's volume quite a bit, this is a challenge. The sensitivity is set for a given signal strength, and if you forget to go to the sweet spot on your guitar's volume before stomping on the SWAW you will NOT get the sound you're expecting after having dialed in your sound. Bottom line is that the pedal requires some tweaking time as well as some thought into how you will incorporate it into your playing style.
