The guitar was delivered to me about 3 weeks ago. I haven’t gigged with her yet but hope to do so soon. First thing I notice is the weight. It doesn’t weigh very much at all less than 6 lbs. Next the feel. The neck is smooth and so comfortable in my hands and it doesn’t feel sticky at all. Fretwork is perfect and the guitar rings true anywhere on the neck. Neck joint is tight and cleanly put together. As for the body of the guitar, the ash grain is beautiful and the hand rubbed finish allows for a slight grain feel to the touch - which I prefer over a glass smooth finish. Unplugged the guitar rings clear. It really resonates. Plug it in its all tone. Spunky or meaty or twang. It also gives a nice clean tone … it chimes. The versatility of the 5-way switch is great. The humbucker on the neck can get warm, push it and gritty rock blues rips out of the guitar The bridge is spunky but smooth. I had the pickup in a reversed position and it really takes off the spike on the high notes and makes the bass notes clean and sparkle. Chris and Rich worked hard on getting the guitar just right for me.
