Can MJM Phantom run at 18V?

Any one doing it? I just bought one and I want to run it with my DLS that is running at 18v. Thanks!

I don't...Have you emailed the maker to make sure that it can handle it?

Nope. Thought for sure that some one around here would know. Since the pedal has been around now for some time, and running opamp OD's at 18v has been such a successful tactic for so many. Hard to believe no one has tried it already?

As suggested previously, try e-mailing the builder instead of wasting your time. I remember they replied mine when I had purchased a Blues Devil directly.

Shoot him an email, he's responded quite quickly to me in the past about stuff.

18v can ruin some pedals, if they're not built for it, so be careful...such a great pedal.

Michael at MJM says that both the Blues Devil and the Phantom offer outstanding results at 18v! He did mention to take caution in not exceeding 18v. There you have it.

Oh that's a reveal, once I pluged the 18V into it accidentaly instead of the 10V, no wonder it survived lol. Anyway does it change the tone?

I think I'm going to try this myself. I didn't realize you could run this one on 18v. Hadn't even thought about it. Thanks for posting the question Mapleneck.
