the guys on this site are so funny, if you have wood shop and years of experience its an easy fix, though getting it to look like it has never been broken is a trick.

I have an epi sheraton II and would definitely get the repair made by a qualified tech if it was broken like yours, see a lot of repaired by owner guitars at the used guitar stores, they are usually disasters.
