Vince Gill's Pedal Board

Hello to All,

Last week I had the gtreat pleasure of seeing Vince G in concert. I'm pretty familiar wth his stuff and can only say, what an amazing musician/performer. Afterwards I tried to get a look at his pedals I could only make out the colors of what looked like to be "boss" pedals.
Love the sound, there must be someone out there who knows what's on that board.
Anyone?

Slefy

This looks like his old board. Last year he was touring with a pretty high end pedal board. Lots of boutique gear on it. But he has been using his Deluxe Reverbs again, and not the 65 Amps, so maybe he went back to his "normal" setup.

Looking at the stage from eye level all I could see were a few familiar "boss" pedals, also that green tremelo box. I noticed a couple gun metal grey boxes, could one of these have been the Zendrive?

No, the Zendrive is easily recognizable...

I think he added a couple of higher end dirts to his board but Boss is still very prevalent.

Let's just say I don't think he spends a lot of time thinking about pedals but he always sounds glorious.

Lesson for the rest of us?

It looks like 2 seprate paths...one hits the bottom row as well as the Super Overdrive thats off board and the other simply gets a tuner and what looks like a delay...

Maybe one electric and one acoustic???

That's awesome. No horsey man, no yin yang, no Southpark character in a wheelchair, and he sounds amazing.

When I went through the extensive compressor search last year, I wound up with the stock CS-2...I think those CS's are still a well-kept secret

Those are just stock shells of Boss pedals. They all have been handwired with the "GOOD" stuff.

Please spread this internet rumour as swiftly as possible.

I agree to an extent that you don't need high end, but I just simply do not like Boss pedals. The Digitech Hardwire line should put them out of business. Miles above. That said, Doug Seven gets a pretty killer tone and his stombox array looks about the same as Gill's.
