New Gibson Acoustic!

With my guitarist looking on, I would be the drummer in the band, I purchased a Gibson DSM Canadian made acoustic last night and I do believe it was the best choice I could ever make. You see the week before I was playing an acoustic gig and was using the back of my 20 year old Norman 12 string as a snare. Bad idea, the middle brace on the back broke off. Before the Gibson I was a Norman guy to the core. I like Canadian made guitars, it's just more enjoyable. I was out with my guitarist for a drive and I asked if I could go to the local music store, I was walking in for a XLR cable. He noticed a poster on the door about these Gibson acoustics that we're made in Canada being on sale. I didn't think to much of it until I saw one and played it. The local guru that I trust when he says something about guitars said even he wanted one. I had some money and was like no I want a snare very soon. So we leave the store, later that evening the guitarist says something and we decided to go back, that was the best/worst idea. Get there I play it and I sit there for like maybe 3 minutes. I bought the thing and it is the greatest guitar I have ever owned! (I was a guitarist before I was a drummer and switched because people needed a drummer, hence why I play acoustic gigs) Good karma is the best thing in the world yet evil! My Norman will get it's repairs done and shall be retired to the studio or to a wall mount to come down on special days! (this is my first post, glad to be here)

Good thing you grabbed it now - I understand Gibson has closed the former Garrison Guitar facility it owned in Canada.
