Focusrite Saffire Pro 24 DSP

I just picked up the Pro 24 DSP and I'm very impressed with the sound quality of the I/O's. The preamps are clean and natural sounding and the output section sounds incredible. I'm hearing detail in my existing projects that never came through with my previous setup, a Tascam FW-1082. I'm using Sonar 8.5 Professional and currently just using the Tascam as a controller with the Pro 24 DSP as my I/O interface..
The tracking reverb is a nice addition and provides a nice performance environment while recording. The hardware compressors and EQ sound good though I have so far only used that function sparingly.
The VRM (Virtual Reference Monitoring section on the Pro 24 DSP is interesting but I am kind of on the fence on which room/speaker options I prefer. The VRM does provide a nice environment for listening to mixes, but at this point I certainly wouldn't feel comfortable mixing in that environment (a major selling point for the VRM function).
Is anyone using this unit and what are your preferred VRM settings.
Thanks

Glad to hear positive reports on the sound. I'm planning on getting a Saffire Pro 40 soon, or maybe save more pennies and splurge for the 56.

Heh...

Last January I got rid of my Tascam FW-1082 and got me a Focusrite Saffire Pro 40, and I love it!
The new Saffire range is probably one of the best interface-deals on the market right now.

FYI, I just picked up a Pro 40 from Proaudiostar.com for $399 shipped. You have to call them to get the "real" price.

I didn't ask about the price on the 56. I was afraid I might be too tempted.
