The finish is Daphne Blue and it is one of the few modern Fenders with a Braz board. Wild Wood really pulled out all the stops on the '59 Strat. Anyone looking for a new Fender Custom Shop should really consider these - though a bit pricey they should hold their value particularly as the limited editions are all sold out...




I also installed a tortoise guard...

Love that combo, never seen that before. I have a tortise guard for my next build in LPB.
