How do you clean a Rosewood fretboard?

I have a RW fretboard on my Strat that was treated with Boston's Butcher Paste Wax about 7 months ago by a tech... I want to clean it and apply Fret Doctor... Is there something I can use to clean the Bostons Wax off? (I can't see it on the fretboard but it must be there in the pores).
Thanks!

Naptha will remove wax and is safe to get on the finish.

I don't really play four notes per string because my technique does not allow for that - Audley Freed

naphtha on one paper towel, nothing on the other, use the dry one to repeatedly soak up some of the naphtha left by the first one; this method can wick out some of the gunk that gets smeared into rosewood, so the fret doctor can do its stuff.
