Getting that subtle addition to my leads with the boss dd-20...
So I just bought the DD-20...so far I'm really digging it.
The main purpose of this pedal is to get a little extra character and depth to my sound, especially on overdriven leads. I just got it yesterday so I haven't spent too much time with it yet. Can't decide if standard, analog, or tape delay would be the best choice to set...or maybe something else I haven't thought of. The main problem I'm finding is that no matter how low I set thesettings/tone/feedback/delay, it feels a bit too reverby for me...but maybe in a live setting that's just what I need...not sure... I like a little reverb on my normal sound. Not sure how to set the delay so it won't become a muddy mess either... Any dd-20 users here that could chime in and help me out, would be very appreciated. Playing through a heritage semihollow into a fender blues junior and using a ts9. |

I use the Analog model on mine. Either 310ms or 537ms.
Level 9:30-10:00 Feedback 11:00 Tone 10:00

Thanks 5150! I checked out those settings...and it actuallt got rid of the reverby feel...I don't know how, but it did. Any other secrets, lol?
Also, do these settings sound good with overdrive on them? Only got to try it in my own apartment and couldn't crank the overdrive... |
