M9 setup Question

Hi all, I have tried looking through all teh M9 threads and there is a TON of info there ... but couldn't find answers to a coupdl simple questions.

Thinking I could replace my DL-4 and Boss tremelos that I run in the loop of my Mesa F-100 with an M9. I would use the amp for my dirt so just need the M9 in the loop set up for delay, and other time based effects (chorus, flange, phaser, reverb etc).

Can I run this in the loop of my F-100? Can I set up the different effects to have a variety of the time based effects at my feet and just not even use the distortion effects? or does one of the "EFX" channels have to be dist?

I would use it up front but then I would have to use the distortion models and run my amp clean or the delays would sound wrong.

Thanks for the help.

Nope, you don't have to use any of the models - they can be all delay, or all filter or all modulation etc etc. No reason at all why you can't run it in your amps loop and continue to use your amps drive.
