Wiring for Tele SCN PU's?

I want to put a set of Fender SCN's in my American Standard Tele which has the standard three way switch. I've read these PU's are confusing to install because them come with additional wiring for the Deluxe S1 switching. So has anyone wired these to a traditional Tele. Anyone happen to have a wiring diagram?

Thanks.

I put some in my Tele a few months ago. Nothing different than any other pickups. I have the standard 3-way switch. I wasn't even aware of the "S1" switching. Now I'm gonna check that out. The SCNs aren't chimey enough for me. Maybe the S1 wiring has something special?

I installed a set in my tele two weeks ago, and I love 'em.

I was able to grab the wiring diagram is on fender's website in PDF form they are arranged by model. The SCN's are a direct replacement so you can just use an american standard diagram. Hope this helps.

I bought a set and was able to get them wired. They came with a wiring diagram and I had read they didn't.

Did you guys have any problems with the mounting depth? Per Fender's website the recommended string height for noiseless PU's is 8/64" and 6/64". I can't set my bridge that low before I the bottom of the cavity on my 06 American Standard. Also, the mounting screws have a space at the top before the threads which is too be to go through the standard holes in my pick guard. I could drill the hold out, but then it would be useless for other PU's.

You guys didn't have these issues?

Thanks.

one thing I wanna add is that I accidently tore out the yellow lead while handling them prior to install. You might want to double check to make sire that they are in there securely, perhaps even secure them a bit better.. Could be a fluke, but it never hurts to check before you install em.

I have them installed and working beautifully. My problem is as described in my last post. PU's are too deep. I don't want to have to route my body anymore and was curious why other haven't had this issue? Maybe they keep them raised a little higher?

I'm gong to write to Fender and see what they have to say. If they won't fit in a traditional American Tele there should be a disclaimer IMO.
