Autotune

I know this topic is taboo and I may have it in the wrong section. I'm the lead guitarist but we've lost our rhythm/lead singer. I can replace the rhythm guitar part but can't find a singer. It's looking more and more like I might have to sing for at least a bit.

I make no bones about my singing ability, I'm pitchy and need help. Is there an inexpensive unit I can use live to help until I find a new singer? Not trying to hide anything and not ashamed to admit I need help. I'm working with a coach and she's got me to a better place but I don't have the the time to get where I need in time.

Yes, only one consideration:

If you canīt sing in tune, no autotune in the world can handle it in real time.

If its just only some cents up/down you can try TC HELICON Voice Tone Correct.

No human singer sings perfectly in tune, thereīs no taboo going slightly out of tune... but if you are trying to correct more than a semitone off, sorry a machine wonīt do it.

Thanks for the suggestions. I need to get someone I trust to listen and determine if I'm too far out there.

If you can sing at all, even if your pitchy you should try some singing lessons, the right teacher can help make a huge difference in your singing ability. Even a few months of training will make a noticeable improvement.
