just sounds like a generic pushed strat on the neck pickup to me

Not really crazy about the playing, but great tone. And I thought the JCM900 was a turd amp.

Ha - considering you're wrong on the second part - it's the bridge pickup (see the video) - guess we'll just ignore the first part of your comment as well.

Definitely using an OD + you can hear the delay effect, as well. Why does he say it's straight into the amp?? Nope.
Pretty cool...but enough with the neck slides, already. Sounds 80's.

Actually he starts on the bridge, switches to neck for a bit and switches back to bridge...

I always wonder when I see guys play like that "alone" whether they could do the same thing in a band setting... I'm not tying to be a dick, but I bet with three other guys he can't play it as well.
