Years ago my micro-managed group got together and did a skip-level meeting with my old boss's boss...told of the treatment and later that day my boss was no longer my boss or anybody elses to this day

Yeah. I got the memo. And I understand the policy. And the problem is just that I forgot the one time. And I've already taken care of it so it's not even really a problem anymore.
Ah! Yeah. It's just we're putting new coversheets on all the TPS reports before they go out now. So if you could go ahead and try to remember to do that from now on, that'd be great. All right!

Me too, except we have an over abundance of Milton's on the mfg shop floor. They wander around all day looking for someone to reset their password. They have that same blank look when we tell them we are moving their computer and workbench yet again.

And there isn't someone comparable to Jennifer Aniston within 10 miles of this place.

At the place I used to work they would have laid off everyone and gave the guy a raise.
