3 Preamps /2 Effects units. Which Line Mixer?

Hi to everybody.
My name is Chris and i live in Greece.
I am making a rack and (among others) i have

3 preamps:
1) Mesa Boogie Studio Preamp
2) Marshall Jmp-1
3) Engl E-530

...and 2 effects units:
1) Rocktron Xpression
2) Digitech IPS 33B Super harmony machine.

I also have 2 Voodoo lab GCXs and a Boogie stereo power amp.

I need a (rack unit) line mixer to mix my pure dry signal from the 3 preamps with the wet signal from the 2 effects units. I wish to play in Stereo mode.
I have read many topics about this but i still can't understand which line mixer is suitable for me.
Most of them seem very complicated to me as i am new at this "sport" ..
Also, i want something affordable ( i can't afford a C.A.E or Sylsonic or D.M.C ) but not cheap to destroy my sonic quality of these 3 preamps .

I really need your precious help here and i would really appreciate your suggestions.
Thanx in advance,
Chris.

Sounds great & very affordable.

I am just thinking of this of the top of my head, but I think one way you could do this would be:

1) A/B/C splitter device (Framtome 3-Banger http://www.framptone.com ) to split your guitar signal to the 3 preamps' inputs.

2) Outputs of all preamps into inputs 1-3 of the line mixer. (Left = Mono)

3) Aux out Master on the line mixer to the input of the Rocktron. (Aux Send on channels 1-3 up to unity)

4) Rocktron Outputs to the input of the Digitech.

5) Digitech Outputs to stereo effects return on line mixer.

6) Master outs of the line mixer to stereo power amp. (Master Out knob is your master volume & the Effects Return knob is your Master FX level.)

7) Rock with impunity!!

Any input on how to incorporate a mixer with a GCX unit? I need to boost the output levels of a few rack units (Line 6 Pro stuff) but I also need to switch the FX in and out?

This ought to do it:

Run the signal out of your GCX loop(s) Send jacks to the Input jacks of your rack units, run the outputs of the rack units into the line mixer, and the outputs of the line mixer back to the Return jacks on the GCX. Adjust the Effects Return levels on the line mixer as needed.

In other words, you want all three of your preamps to access your effects units, so no matter which one you choose to use at any given point in time, the preamp signal will run through the effects processors and then to the Boogie power amp, thus giving you stereo effects.

If that is the case, since you already have two GCX units, you don't need a line mixer, nor will you need an A/B/Y switcher to choose between preamps, either. It's a pretty straightforward set up, but probably easier to understand with a signal routing diagram. I'll post one for you as soon as I can work one up.

Just out of curiosity, how are you switching between preamps now, what kind of tuner are you using and where is it currently located in your signal chain, and what MIDI foot controller are you using with your GCX units?
