How is it that I'm hearing some reverb eventho' the driver tube is missing?

Following some TGP advice, I pulled the 12AT7 reverb driver tube out as to not damage the reverb transformer in my DRRI.

I finally got the reverb tank fixed and installed everything but I left the 12AT7 at work. But even without it, I'm hearing some reverb. How is that possible?

This may sound weird but if you are using a strat and listening WAY to carefully you can hear a reverb like sound. Most of the time it is a strat with 5 springs and no spring cover on the back.

Sounds crazy but check it out you will hear it. haha

Mechanical coupling in both scenarios.
