JMI MK2 Fuzz "ToneBender" Pedal

I'm thinking of getting one of these limited edition JMI MK2 fuzz pedals.

Anyone have first hand knowledge about the others available: MK1, 1.5, and the Treble Booster to compare?

I've listened to clips but, they're clips.

I love the old Ronson sound, and of course Jimmy Page.

I also heard Jimmy used the MK2 pedal from JMI in the film "It Might Get Loud" but I haven't seen it yet.

If Jimmy was using a JMI tonebender in the film then i want one.

It sounded great.

What are they going for?

I have a JMI MK II and a JMI Supa Fuzz and both are killer.

The MK II with a small tube amp and a Tele is LZI all day long...

If you want those ratty Mick Ronson tones you want a MK I...

There are several threads about the new JMI fuzzes and boosts...do some digging and you'll find a lot of info.

I ordered one from the mad ape over a month ago...Still haven't gotten it and they haven't sent me anything telling me when it will come in. I've heard a lot of people on here complain about getting theirs in on time. Awesome sounding pedal though.

I've had my JMI MKII for a couple months (having the footswitch replaced at the moment) and it's one of the best Tonebender MKII Pro pedals I've had the pleasure of hearing.

I'm going to agree with one of the earlier posts and say that if it's Ronson you want, the MKI is the way to go. I have one of the wooden enclosure JMI MKI's and it has that awesome raw/throaty fuzz.

They're both great great pedals in my book, and I'd love to try out the MKI.5 sometime soon.

The MKII in 'It Might Get Loud' is a Solasound MKII not a JMI. Could be an original or a reissue, not too sure.

Anyone know what model then (MK2, 1, 1.5) would favor singlecoil fender's, P-90s, then Humbuckers?

Also, I see some other dealers on GBase that seem to have them in stock and ready to go, Eddie's Guitars for instance.
And one for sale in our Emporium.

That clkip from "It Might Get Loud" was filmed before the Sola Sound/DAMN MK II's were out...that unit Page is using is an original model from the 60's...quite likely one of the units he used durig the Zep days.

I happen to think they all work well with any of the 3 depending on what you want.
