I like them but usually, the punchline is simply in the thread title. The content is usually so-so.

I do like the "hot SFW" thread in response to my "I don't like borderline NSFW threads" thread. Very "gotcha"-like.

The key to a good parody thread is to both modify the original thread title and still have some new content be it serious or campy.

I love a good parody thread but most are just a re-wording of another thread title. You know like "Dog bites man" becomes "Man bites dog". That was novel for a while but has gotten a little old.

I thought my bowling score thread was hilarious until I got scolded. Then I felt guilty but I had a 202, 174 and and 189 last week so I'm on a roll.
I may get most improved for the second half of the league.
