I smoked for 20+ years. I've been quit for ~15 now. Smoking is one of the top things I regret in my life. I absolutely hate being around smokers now. Even outside it's bad. Hell, I can smell a smoker in my car when I'm behind them on the road. I have no idea how or why I did it or how my wife put up with it.

I don't hate smokers per se, but I hate smoking.

Hate is a very strong term, and your poll makes hating smokers and smoking mutually inclusive.

I don't like smoking, breathing second-hand smoke, or just about any other aspect of smoking.

Do I hate smokers? No. Most of them that I have talked to would love to kick the habit, have even tried, but are hooked. I feel a bit sorry for them really. Now discourteous smokers who won't take it outside, and maybe even relish in the non-smokers discomfort, are another matter all-together.
