I'm debating on this too.Of all the soundclips I've listened to(pretty much every wah out here)the BBE has impressed me the most.
I'm after that 67 vox sound. |

the CAE is definitely after the crybaby sound rather than vox

I haven't had a chance to try the BBE, but I have a CAE and I love it. Two distinct wah sounds that sound great and a line boost it was the best sounded way out of any of the Dunlop or Vox stuff I tried

Well I can definatley cross the BBE off the list.Doesn't have the grit I was looking for unless you count the scratchy pot.

I have the BBE and like it very much. The Q control is very usable and the wah itself has a great vocal quality. I use it at the front of my chain with a Carl Martin buffer.

I have the BBE and am very impressed, especially considering its low price ($98 new on ebay). Its not as warm sounding as the Teese picture was I used to have, but that pedal, and other wahs I have had, boosted the treble beyond my tastes whereas the BBE does not do that at all.
