boss DD7 (40secs) and hardwire DL8 (20 secs) have a loop mode, but it would be nice to have a stand-alone simple looper, with only record-off and a cheaper price.

for me the best looper would be a tc nova looper , like all the nova series same size and two footswitch, if someone know who's the tc electronic big boss please ask him !!!

got a used headrush e1 off ebay. Piece of SH*T
Should have kept that bigger boss a while ago....

what didn't you like about it?

the headrush is my favorite looper by far. i have two E1's that i got off craigslist for $100 each and i love them.

I do like my EH Memory Man W/Hazarai for it's looping and complex reverse/delay functions. Still, it's sensitive to set up and I find it a little difficult to operate in a live environment. Boomerang III?

i had a hard time getting seamless loops on the SMMH because you have to hold the switch down while recording.
