Dave will play anything that he is given as an endorsement. His gear is very much flavor of the month. It's Jackson, no wait it's ESP, oppss, I meant Dean, and so on.

whoever pays him to play their stuff.

i love him and all but i hate to say it- from observing behavioral patterns in recent interviews; i'd say he's playing with monkies again.

anyone who disagrees is in denial or doesn't know a junkie.

I hate to say it, but GREAT. Maybe they'll put out some decent music again. I could go for another Peace Sells...

What a control freak.

Chris uses Engl but because I use and endorse Marshall he has to.

Then he trashed Bob Bradshaw along with other people he worked with on previous albums.

What a class act.

Eh, David Lee Roth did the same thing to Vai when he joined up. Not because he played them, of course. Just because it was the sound he wanted for his band at the time.

Did Michelangelo Batio have his sig before Dave? I am just curious as he made it seem that he introduced the brand new concept of six tuners in-line on the headstock to Dean.

I love me some older Megadeth......but Dave is an interesting character.

It's Dave's gig... If he wants his guitar player to play Marshall rather than ENGL, that's his prerogative.
Is he opinionated and arrogant? Sure is... But I like a guy who will tell you the way he sees it rather than go along just to get along...

Oh you mean like his guitarist Chris but I guess it's work so he puts up with it because Dave's the boss.

Look I am a Megadeth fan and everything but that is really unprofessional to just start throwing people you worked with in the past under the bus. I mean every interview Dave has to find someone to bad mouth, mostly people he has worked with that never really wronged him.

Wow - there's a semester's worth of psychology case studies all wrapped up in a 9:30 YouTube video.
