There was a period of time from the mid-to-late 70's up through about the Diver Down record where pretty much no one could touch Ed in terms of attitude, ability, feel and badassedness in the rock/hard rock guitar world. He just took things to another level.

Now I'm itching to find the us festival recording where they basically do what would be called girl gone bad and slip in the chorus to Glad...
