Clean Un-Boost Pedal

Apart from the RC Booster what other pedal let's you unboost the signal without messing with your tone?

"Un-boost"?

The RC Boost definitely changes one's tone; it's not designed to be a totally transparent box (and I do love what it does).

Is the j. Everman "the pot" what you're looking for? Lowers volume of guitar without affecting tone.

heavy electronics has a pedal that does this. can't remember the name though.

I'm not even sure what you're aiming for, but if perhaps the word "transparent" could be used to describe what you're wanting, then perhaps the Dan-O Transparent Overdrive V2 would be a good option. there are some internal trim pots to mess with so it doesn't really "boost" your tone, I guess...

Yes, something I can place in the FX Loop of an amp that cuts the volume, because there's a volume jump from one channel to the other.

katana. also, you can set the timmy this way, but the katana will allow you deeper attenuation if i remember correctly.
