I love Mike Stern. I just found this clip on youTube. The entire band burns on it it. Enjoy.

Yes he does. I saw this tour, and it was great. I can take or leave Berg though, he's a fine player that leaves me cold. Mike rocks, indeed.

Bass player and drummer are incredible....nothing against Berg and Stern, but without the right rhythm section that kind of playing sounds like noodling.

too many hot guitar players and not enough drummers and bassists!

Bob was a great guy and player. His playing defined a NYC sound in the wake of Michael Brecker and in the midst of the big downtown explosion by guys like Zorn.

That was a very hot band and Lincoln Goines is an incredibly solid bassist.
