Are you kidding? That's what the HT5 is for! Cant make a Fender sound like a Marshall. The Blackstar guys came from Marshall. Get it.

woops I mean a catalinbeard dirty little secret through a fender princeton reverb vs. an HT5 wooops soooo sorry about that. I left that out like a dummy. damn.

What kinda marshall tones are you going for? Marshall makes a few amps.

if you want to goose it with treble boosters or fuzz pedals, the DLS > Princeton is a perfect base to build on.

if you want to just plug in and rage, and you want more gain than, say, Billy Duffy on Electric, HT-5 should do the job.

Also consider at the HT-5 price point the Bümbox Lead One. And at the 66 PR + DLS price point there's the Fargen Mini Plex...

and that mini plex sounds great. im in love with that amp. there is a youtube demo of the power scaling turned all the way down and it still nails those classic 70s marshall tones.

If possible id go with the fargen, otherwise the blackstar
