Brent Mason's CD, Smokin' Section...Dang!

Brent and Randy Mason's CD, Smokin' Section, is incredible, I am blown away. Kind of Johnny A.-like, but absolutely smoking and very tasty. Great tone too.

Plus, Brent has a great singing voice!

Great cd indeed. Not so new though, 2008? Learnt a bunch of songs off it, takes a bit of time they are pretty hard!

Brent is a seriously great player.

It's been out a while now. 2008 sounds about right. As already stated, it's a killer CD and Brent is amazing.

I did not know he could sing. I have enough guitar wanking CD's to last me a lifetime. I will have to check that out now. thanks for the review.

I moved out to Nashville for about a year, and seeing him live was one of the only good things that came out of being in that town. Yeah I didn't know he could sing either but he can. He's at his best when he's doing the clean country stuff, in my opinion. He would do a few things were he kicked the overdrive on, but it just didn't work for me.
