FRFR Anyone Use JBL EON?

Just curious if anyone has tried the powered version of the EON speaker and what your opinion is.

In an off-hand way, yes. The mains in my band's PA are JBL EON (15s I think). I run direct with a Verve 8ma as my monitor. I've been told it sounds good in audience but as a personal monitor, I don't think people care for them much. I've seen comments that they aren't very accurate or particularly pleasing to the ear. As mains though for all the band instruments in a mix, I have seen a lot of positive remarks. Our sound comes through very clear with plenty of headroom.

Yeah..I use the EON15 powered speakers for my guitar/guitar synth/looping setup.
Guitar goes into a GT-Pro...Piezo pickup goes into a Boss VF-1, and all signals (including synth) go to a Mackie 1202VLZ mixer- the aux send is sent to my Oberheim Echoplex.
I gotta say, it sounds just as awesome for solo shows as it does for a big band setting.
