Which rock amp????

Looking for a good hard rock amp very much in the Marshall camp. I need a decent and footswitchable clean. I like high gain but need to be able to dial in some midgain stuff and use the volume knob on the guitar.

The top three I'm considering are a Roccaforte Jenelle, Splawn QR, and maybe a Bogner 101b if the price is right. Any other suggestions are welcome. I like a pretty high amount of gain and need the amp to stay tight. I play leads but I need the amp to be great for high gain rhythm stuff. Thanks for any help.

Great suggestions. Just returned the SigX. Great amp but something just didn't mess. Also forgot about the Landry.

a must try before you finally purchase is a Soldano SLO 100w ....crank it,spend time w/ it! likes greenbacks and soldano emi's legends.......
its a good controllable amp, good for most levels but shines obviously turned up....i had a wizard prior to the soldano that i loved but never could use it in the venues i play(took volume to make it cook),the soldano wins in that catagory......superb proper rock sound! built like a tiger tank.

Great stuff. I'd like to spend about 1500-1800 so the Bogner and Suhr are likely out as are the Diezels. If the right amp came along I might kick it up a little but I want to stay somewhat in that price range. Right now I use a JCM 2000 most of the time. Sometimes a 2204. Very good amps but both single channel for all practical purposes.

I think the DSL would be about perfect if the bass when up to 12. Next gig I might try an eq in the loop and use another amp for cleans. It would be nice to get both in one package, though.

If you need some really nice cleans too, how about a channel switcher, like Rivera's Fandango or Ktre' ?
