Marshall 1960ax (and G12M) Question
I have the chance to grab a '99 1960ax cab used. Was wondering if there were any differences between the G12M speakers that would come stock in this cab in 1999 vs. currently?
thanks! |

Possibly made in England vs. made in China...but most would probably agree that there's no discernible difference.

Yup, the greenies in the ax would be from England.

I forget which year but it was definitely AFTER 1999. I have English made G12M greenbacks I bought in around 2002 or 2003.

these older made in england g12m's would be identical to the currently produced made in england g12m's, correct?
what are the tonal differences between these speakers and the more expensive 'heritage' g12m's?? |
